My Life, My Lion Dance,THE LION ARTS: The Birthday

Malaysia Khuan Loke Dragon and Lion Dance Association celebrates its 7th birthday on 25/7/2009 and organized a Cultural Night served with dinner. Filling up the hall with more than 1300 people, the night was happening and lively. Performance highlighted on the night was Northern Lions, 24 Festive Drums, The New Lion and Dragon Stage Drama, and The Acrobatics Lion Dance On High Pole. A must watch, Stage Drama, gives you a fresh look instead of traditional way of performing the arts of lion dance and dragon dance. The special move highlighted was a 270 degree turn from a Gua Jong Position and back up on pole. Will post some performance video that we have just mention. Besides the performance, There is a special highlight that we would also like to mention. Which is Lion Dance King, Master Siow Ho Phiew accepted another 10 disciple in a "Bai See" Ceremony, witness by the crowd of 1350 people and Hoksan Sarping Grand Master Robin Chan. His disciple now, Worldwide and Local (Malaysia) have already reach 49 officials.
